About Us

In Vitro Equinos company is located in Mogi Mirim , the estate of São Paulo, Brazil.

Founded in 2005 as In Vitro Brasil Clonagem Animal, and started offering cloning services for bovine, and equine animals.

In 2012, was born the first equine clone produced in Brazil of the mangalarga stallion named Turbante JO.

The research and attempts to bring the ICSI technique (Intracytoplasmatic Sperm Injection) to the equine market in Brazil began in 2011.

Our first filly (Missin Tammy x Corona Fireball – QH) produced by ICSI in Brazil was born in 2012, from post-death ovary aspiration.

In 2018, In Vitro Equinos Ltda. consolidated the ICSI commercially, delivering highly robust results. Since then, our focus has been on constantly improving processes and efficiency at each stage.

The company is renamed In Vitro Equinos Ltda in 2021, working exclusively with horses, offering excellence at in vitro fertilization through ICSI, cloning services, and genetic preservation (tissue bank).

In Vitro Equinos Ltda. is duly regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) and National Technical Commission on Biosafety (CTNBio), which guarantees the recognition of our services by the Breed Associations that recognize the technologies offered.

In Vitro Equinos joins the Equine Care Group – another important step for global equine reproduction.

We are proud to share a significant milestone in the evolution of In Vitro Equinos: we are officially joining forces with the Equine Care Group (ECG) — one of the most advanced veterinary networks in the world, dedicated to equine health.

Founded in 2021 by Dr. Tom Mariën, an internationally renowned equine surgeon and founder of Equitom — widely recognized as one of the most advanced equine hospitals in the world — ECG was created to bring together the best veterinarians worldwide. Its vision is to build an international collaborative network capable of delivering the highest standards of equine medical care through knowledge sharing, innovation, and partnerships.

For years, In Vitro Equinos has been a pioneer and leader in ICSI, cloning, and genetic preservation, operating in Brazil, Argentina, Qatar, and the United States. With innovation at the core of our mission, we have always sought to deliver the highest standards of reproductive biotechnology for the benefit of horses and breeders around the world.

Now, as part of the ECG family, we confidently step into a new era.
